Our customer owns and operates a large portfolio of shopping centres in the UK. In addition to leading the way in consumer and leisure experiences, they also pioneer new energy saving standards within their industry.
As part of its LED rollout programme the customer was seeking an intelligent lighting control system that could drive further savings and carbon emission reductions. They also wanted the system to form part of their broader digital strategy to acquire operational data about how their centres are occupied and perform.
The solution was specifically for lighting in the huge areas of non-retail spaces, including service corridors, loading bays, stairwells and car parks. The enModus Smart Connected Lighting solution, that uses the existing power lines to communicate, was installed in new T8 LED luminaires in the service corridors.
